Senior Professional Services Data Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Professional Services Data Engineer, to join our professional services team that develops and delivers Advanced Analytics solutions to large international Life Science customers.

If you have at least 5 years of experience with a focus on strong SQL skills, ETL development, experience with large-scale datasets and you are looking to play a significant role in a growing team – this job is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing requirements into an effective analytic solution (both AI and BI based solutions)

Requirements:

Senior Director, Sales

Verix provides AI-based products and solutions to commercial phase life science companies. These offerings leverage our proprietary, advanced analytics platform and are rapidly configured and deployed enabling customers harness the benefits science-based analytics.

We are a high-growth organization that serves both established and emerging life sciences companies including Top 20 Pharma and established and emerging biopharmaceutical organizations.

We are looking for a motivated, talented Sales professional to join our team. Our Sales team is focused on matching Verix’s SaaS based AI/ML decision science platform capabilities with life science manufacturers that have a defined need in Specialty and Rare disease therapeutic areas.  This individual will be tasked with lead generation, qualification, and opportunity management through to closing contracts.   The individual will interact with both the Customer Success and the Delivery teams here at Verix.

Position reports to the Vice President of Sales and primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect: Develop and expand a pipeline of target prospects through typical processes (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Consultative Selling: Establish trusted advisor relationship in order to assess client needs, identify value, target engagement opportunities, and create demand for Verix services and solutions
  • Manage multiple opportunities through multiple stages of the sales cycle:
    • Prepare for and lead internal and customer pursuit meetings
    • Accurately prepare client meeting materials (i.e., agenda, slides, minutes, etc.)
    • Attend and contribute to onsite client meetings as required
  • Update CRM management information and document sales activity, transactions, account, client information and revenue opportunities as required
  • Establish forecasts and account penetration plans
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
  • Complete all administrative tasks and duties in a timely manner
    • Document weekly activity in CRM
    • Prepare and present weekly status reports
    • Update pipeline report ensuring dates, contract value and revenue allocation is accurate
  • Work closely with internal and external teams as required to manage client solution fulfillment

Requirements And Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience handling a complex sales process in Life Science companies
  • Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales through both virtual and in-person outreach; potentially represent Verix at regional and national tradeshows and conferences
  • Demonstrated success selling into Large and Medium Life Science organizations at the Director, Senior Director, or Vice President level.
  • Build and sustain pipeline for future sales opportunities
    • Identify qualified pipeline opportunities sufficient to achieve quarterly quota target
    • Generate pipeline 4-5x quarterly / annual sales target
    • Ensure that all opportunities support pricing in line with margin targets
    • Drive external and internal contracting processes
    • Support legal to legal contract negotiation processes
