It’s the first week of 2018, and I’m looking back with pride at another dynamic year at Verix. We’ve achieved some remarkable milestones this last year, continuing to push the envelope of analytical insights for business users. I’m grateful to our committed partners and loyal customers that keep embracing innovation and put their trust in our developments. Without your pioneering spirit, we couldn’t have arrived at such inventive solutions. It takes groundbreaking partners like you that are willing to explore and eventually set new trends. Further, I want to personally thank each and every one on our amazing team that keeps forging ahead with state-of-the-art enhancements to our ever-growing library of solutions. You all helped making 2017 a remarkable year. Here’re some highlights and meaningful event from this eventful year.
In our Life Sciences market, we’ve expanded our offering with new and enhanced analytic applications, adding more machine learning capabilities, which are tailored for the specific needs of Sales personnel in the Specialty Pharma and Medical Devices markets. We connected it with our Prescription Tracker analytic application that allows every role in Specialty Pharma, from sales reps to executive level, to monitor and optimize their work on the fine granularity of patient and prescription levels, which is crucial in work with long-term treatment providers.
We released a new Market Access application that embeds artificial intelligence techniques in the analysis of multiple influences (Managed Markets, Sales, brand management and competitive analysis) to arrive at highly crystalized insights for Market Access teams. Our customers that deployed the new Market Access application reported an unprecedented fast ROI within weeks (!) from deployment.
I met some of you at PharmaForce last September, which we sponsored again in 2017 and co -hosted with Deloitte a very successful dinner event in which we introduced our new board member, former P&G VP Andy Walter, a visionary IT chief at Procter & Gamble, where he had led a revolution in the company’s approach to business analytics, changing IT’s traditional role from providing information to facilitating better decision-making with advanced analytics.
With Andy Walter’s CPG industry expertise, we’ve enhanced our CPG offering with a suite of new analytic applications, optimizing the last mile of consumer goods sales. A new website we launched in the second half of 2017, reflects the various enhancements to our offering.
We’re looking forward to continuing and bring to the Life Sciences and CPG markets more break through innovation in complex data analytics. Stay tuned for soon to come announcements on our latest and greatest applications.
