We are particularly proud of our relationship with the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G).
Few household names are better known than Procter and Gamble (P&G). Four billion times a day, P&G brands touch the lives of people around the world – a reach that makes P&G the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world.
In February 2013, Verix and P&G formed a strategic relationship with the goal of further strengthening and building P&G’s analytics capabilities and early adoption of cutting edge Business Intelligence concepts.
Generating 30% more business insights to deliver value
P&G is an ideal partner for Verix, combining P&G’s industry leading deep data analytics focus with Verix’s core competency of integrating and combing through vast arrays of data to quickly find business anomalies. Verix provides users with actionable and relevant insights that are tailored to their individual business needs. In less than one year, P&G now relies on Verix’s Intelligent Business Alerts (HotSpots) to generate over 30% more relevant insights than before. Intelligent Business Alerts (HotSpots) enable P&G business managers to receive early warnings on trends and events that need attention, foresee future business opportunities and most importantly, react in real time to these strategic insights.
The Verix solution saves P&G’s in-house analytics team tremendous time: “Even if we knew where to look, understanding a trend change would normally take hours, with the whole team digging in the data coming from various sources. With the Verix tool, it takes 10 minutes of one person’s time,” said a Senior Analyst at Procter and Gamble.
Verix’s relationship with P&G continues to grow. Currently, three applications are fully deployed: Out-of-Stock, Inventory Management, and Market Share. Five additional applications are currently under development and being readied for deployment by the end of 2015.
